Offering fewer dropped calls, faster data transfer, and more convenience. 5G is the fifth generation of wireless technology. This thinking barely scratches the surface. There must be a greater reason why CEOs of major cellular carriers are breaking their necks to railroad the fastest implementation in history of a new communication standard. This reason has little to do with your personal cellphone and everything to do with the so-called Internet of Things (IoT) where all electronic devices will be connected together in real-time. But a conference organized by the Vatican’s Pontifical Academy for Life on Monday mixed enthusiasm with caution regarding recent developments in artificial intelligence, emphasizing the importance of placing the human person at the center.“An appeal for a new alliance of humanism and technology” was at the heart of the introductory speech by Italian Archbishop Vincenzo Paglia, the head of the academy. His speech opened the Feb. 25-26 workshop on “Robo Ethics: Humans, Machines and Health,” which attracted some of the most pioneering engineers, developers and scientists, Catholic and not, to discuss the ever-growing field of Artificial Intelligence. Among the speakers was Hiroshi Ishiguro, a Japanese innovator in the field of androids and interactive robotics. He is globally known for his hyper-realistic robots capable of sustaining 10 to 15-minute conversations with humans. “I want to create a human-robot symbiotic society,” Ishiguro said, adding that his hope is to create a compassionate robot that could easily pass the “Turing test,” which means it’s capable of fooling a human into thinking that it’s not a machine. 5G cell towers are more dangerous than other cell towers for two main reasons. First, 5G is ultra high frequency and ultra high intensity. 3G and 4G use between a 1 to 4 gigahertz frequency. 5G uses between a 24 to 90 gigahertz frequency. To put this in perspective, 90 gigahertz is 90 billion electromagnetic waves hitting the cells in your body per second. This is a whole lot more radiation than we are exposed to naturally. Second, according to experts, because of the shorter length of millimeter waves (MMV) required by 5G to support the bandwidth, these shorter waves do not travel as far or through objects. This means with our current number of cell towers the cell signal will not be reliable. To compensate many more mini cell towers must be installed. But are they good for our health? As the 5G rollout is happening around the world, concerned groups are organizing to mount an opposition and voice their concern about its safety to humans and animals bathed constantly in EMF radiation from towers that will eventually be deployed on every street corner. A recent article reported that four students and three teachers in a California school in San Joaquin County were stricken with cancer which was caused entirely by environmental factors. Parents were demanding that a “radiation-emitting cell phone tower be removed from elementary school property.”
As reported by DrJockers.com, documented 5G health effects include “worsened eye health, lowered bacterial resistance, impacted skin health, and more biologically-active organs – more dangerous.” Dr. Klaus Kaiser wrote that “there is a one-plus order of magnitude difference in the photon (electromagnetic wave, EM) energy between the current 4G communication (4G) and the proposed 5G systems (5G).” He continues that “The more powerful EM wave energy (30-80 GHz of the 5G vs. 3-6 GHz of the 4G) requires a novel set of long-term assessment testing on a variety of species that could be affected by it, even if it were eventually proven to be of no concern in any testing.” In the absence of such a testing, the hurried 5G rollout is a global experiment on humans as unwilling laboratory rats who want faster internet connectivity, smart appliances, future robotic applications not yet thought of, and self-driven cars, all controlled from towers on every block, like steel trees everywhere.Dr. Kaiser recommends studying any health effects of 5G technology on the animal population of a zoo with its biological universe at the ready – animals live, breed, and die in a relatively secure and enclosed experimental area. WHY 5G MAKES ME RECONSIDER THE HEALTH EFFECTS OF CELL PHONES
Susan Crawford - 04.01.19 - Over the past couple of weeks, I've been reading The Uninhabitable Earth. The author, David Wallace-Wells, had me from his first sentence ("It is worse, much worse, than you think"). Wallace-Wells has done us all the great favor of clearly laying out incontestable evidence for what global warming will mean to the way we live. The book's chapters focus on humanity's ability to work and survive in increasingly hot environments, climate-change-driven effects on agriculture, the striking pace of sea-level rise, increasingly "normal" natural disasters, choking pollution, and much more. It's not an easy read emotionally. But it forces the reader to look squarely in the face of the science.
[...] I see a parallel in another big news story: the hype and enthusiasm about 5G wireless as the “thing that will make the existing [communications] model obsolete.” 5G is touted as the solution to all our problems—which sounds pretty unrealistic, as I’ve written in the past. (We’ll still need fiber wires everywhere, including deep in rural areas, to make 5G serve everyone, and there’s a real risk that we’ll end up with local 5G monopolies absent wise government intervention.) And there’s a new (to me) angle to 5G that I’ve resisted in the past: What if transmissions to and from 5G cells, which will need to be everywhere, and much closer to us than traditional cell towers, pulsing out very-high-frequency radio waves at high power levels, pose real risks to human health?
I’ve been impatient for years with people complaining about the health effects of wireless communications. The phrase “tinfoil hat” leaps to mind, I readily concede. But I am learning that hundreds of scientists and tens of thousands of others believe that the intensity of 5G represents a phase change and that 5G’s effects on mankind should be studied closely before this technology is widely adopted.
As with climate change, where denial rhetoric has been driven by companies interested in maintaining the status quo, the wireless industry is vitally interested in assuring us that 5G poses no issues—or that there's an unresolved debate, so we should trust the existing radio-frequency exposure standards. Radiation fears mount as the world gets ready to embrace the network-intensive 5G
By Akshit Sangomla - 04 April 2019 Just a decade ago, 4G, the fourth generation wireless network, shook up the world speeding up data transfer and ensuring superior and uninterrupted mobile and internet connectivity. Now, the world is gearing up for 50 times faster 5G that will make wireless digital communication near seamless. The US and South Korea have already rolled out the network on a trial basis. In May 2018, five Nordic countries—Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland and Iceland—announced their plan to create the world’s first interconnected 5G region. India, which lagged in the implementation of earlier networks, has set up a high level forum to esta blish the vision for 5G in the country and plans to begin trials by 2020. The euphoria around 5G is for a reason.
A host of industries have been waiting for the arrival of 5G for quite some time now. Development of artificial intelligence (AI)-based tech nologies and Internet of Things (which includes smart wearables and virtual reality headsets) has been slow due to lack of superfast data transfer. One example is autonomous vehicles. Automakers have already developed driverless smart cars. They can become usable only if they communicate with other cars and traffic signals. This requires superfast data transfer with minimal delay (a latency as low as 1 millisecond). 5G is being architected to support all such low-latency appli cations, including industrial robots to remote surgery.[...]
World-wide worry
To raise the concerns, on March 5, 230 health experts and scientists from 40 countries demanded the Nordic countries to put a hold on 5G till the “potential hazards of acute and long-time health effects of exposure to 5G have been fully investigated by industry-independent scientists”. Earlier in September 2017, as many as 180 researchers from 36 countries, including India, urged the EU to set up an independent task force to assess the impact of 5G on human health. In 2015, US scientists made an appeal to the UN secretary general, WHO and all UN member nations to deploy 5G only after assessing its health impacts.
But these appeals seem to have fallen on deaf ears. On March 19, Europe’s largest economy Germany began auctions of 5G bandwidth spectrum in Bonn. North American region alone is set to launch 20,000 5G satellites. The industry is not willing to accept the harmful impacts of 5G. The International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection, a Germany-based non-profit which determines the exposure limits of electromagnetic fields in devices, contends that there are no major threats to human health due to high frequency radio waves. “It is not yet known that radiations can cause adverse health effects, as the physics of non-ionizing radiation cannot explain this,” says Abhay Karandikar, director, IIT-Kanpur and part-time member of Telecom Regulatory Authority of India.
As the jury is out on the safety of 5G, some scientists suggest designing networks based on less harmful fibre optic cables. “These can be 20,000,000 times faster than 5G,” says Heroux. “We should capitalise on wired connections which can bring speed of 10 Gb (gigabytes) per second. Most importantly, we should recognise mobile phones for what they are: a radiating device. They should be redesigned to minimise user exposures and use them sparingly,” he adds. [5] Metallic objects within antenna buildings become wave reflectors that focus and ricochet the poison. People who live and work in antenna buildings are inescapably exposed to life-threatening effects which open the blood-brain barrier to chemicals and pathogens, agglutinate (clump) blood cells to impair circulation, obliterate immunity, drain vital energy and inflict perpetual nervous exhaustion. Inmates trapped within these death camps are plagued with rashes, vision and hearing problems, chronic fatigue and cognitive failure as they gradually succumb to cardiovascular pathologies, neurological disabilities, including dementia, and a variety of malignances. To top it off, antenna hostages can neither see, hear, taste nor smell the carcinogen that is making them so sick.
An educated warning is available from leading laboratory scientists of our day: "Recently, a number of reports revealed that under certain conditions the irradiation by low intensity microwave radiation can substantially induce cancer progression in humans and in animal models. The carcinogenic effect of MW irradiation is typically manifested after long term (up to 10 years and more) exposure. Nevertheless, even a year of operation of a powerful base transmitting station for mobile communication reportedly resulted in a dramatic increase of cancer incidence among population living nearby. In addition, model studies in rodents unveiled a significant increase in carcinogenesis after 17-24 months of MW exposure both in tumor-prone and intact animals." [6] At special risk are children, the unborn, the newborn and the elderly. Those who suffer from malignant diseases while trapped in antenna buildings may sustain rapid acceleration of their morbidity thanks to the "cancer fertilizer" of chronic electromagnetic exposure. The science is clear: antenna buildings and antenna neighborhoods are the modern incarnation of compulsory Nazi "medical experiments."

The only cellphone able to use 5G is Motorola which has an attachment to make it capable of 5G and is only good in a certain part of Chicago. In other words it has a very limited amount of bandwidth available. 5G is a new type of technology called millimeter wave a very high frequency radio wave.
