a petition seeking to stop the development and rollout of 5G
technology over fears it is "an experiment on humanity and
the environment." Arthur Firstenberg's petition to world
leaders calls for 5G plans to be scrapped.
"Every person on Earth will have instant access to super-high-speed,
low-latency wireless communications from any point on the planet,
even in rainforests, mid-ocean and the Antarctic," the petition
reads. "What is not widely acknowledged is that this will
also result in unprecedented environmental change on a global
scale. . . . Despite widespread denial, the evidence that radio
frequency (RF) radiation is harmful to life is already overwhelming."
5G is the next generation of communication, both broadband and
wireless. Some companies already offer 5G broadband for use in
homes, but wireless 5G is slated to be introduced starting this

The future is wireless, and it's really fast. 5G data networks
promise to usher in a new era of digital transformation powered
by lightning-quick phones, enhanced virtual and augmented reality,
the Internet of Things, and countless more technological wonders.
At least, that's what mobile carriers and device manufacturers
would like us to believe. 5G represents the fifth generation
of wireless data networks, and while some phones released this
year might boast of being "5G enabled," devices with
true 5G won't ship any time soon. Right now the nomenclature
used for the technology is mostly marketing fuzz, and all four
major mobile carriers in the U.S. are squabbling about the definition
of "real" 5G.
In preparation for broad deployment, every major data carrier
in the U.S. is actively marketing 5G. Verizon launched a campaign
called 5G Home, a network that uses 5G to deliver home internet.
AT&T recently rolled out a campaign touting a data network
the carrier calls "5G Evolution," a rebranding of LTE
technology. Sprint promptly sued AT&T and claimed the carrier
was misleading customers about what qualifies as 5G. T-Mobile
enlisted physicist Michio Kaku to help the company promote their
"5G for everyone" marketing campaign. (Kaku is also

Experts are warning that superfast broadband known as 5G could
cause cancer in humans, and the usage of 5G is nothing more than
a “massive health experiment.” 5G could very well be
a global catastrophe that kills wildlife, gives people terminal
diseases, and causes the Earth’s magnetic field to change,
according to shocking claims by a technology expert.
Arthur Robert Firstenberg is an American author and an activist
for electromagnetic radiation and health. In his 1997 book Microwaving
Our Planet: The Environmental Impact of the Wireless Revolution,
he claimed:
“The telecommunications industry has suppressed damaging
evidence about its technology since at least 1927.”
Firstenberg has also founded the independent campaign group the
Celluar Phone Task Force and since 1996 he has argued in numerous
publications that wireless technology is dangerous. According
to a report by the Daily Star, Firstenberg has also recently
started an online petition calling on world organizations, such
as the United Nations, World Health Organisation (WHO), and European
Union to “urgently halt the development of 5G,” which
is due to be rolled out this year. In fact, Verizon has activated
the world’s first 5G networks in four cities in the United
States: Houston, Indianapolis, Los Angeles, and Sacramento. According
to the Firstenberg, wireless networks are “harmful for humans”
and the development of the next generation is “defined as
a crime” under international law, as he states it in the
online petition.
When speaking to The Daily Star Online, Firstenberg said this
5G rollout is deadly.
“There is about to be as many as 20,000 satellites in the
atmosphere. The FCC approved Elon Musk’s project for 12,000
satellites on November 15th and he’s going to launch his
in mid-2019. I’m getting reports from various parts of the
world that 5G antennas are being erected all over and people
are already getting sick from what’s there now and the insect
population is getting affected,” Firstenberg stated. “This
could become a global catastrophe. When the first satellites
were launched in the late 1990s for mobile phones, on the day
they were launched people sensitive to these things got very
sick. The mortality rate rose in the US by 5-10% too and there
were reports that birds were not flying. People who realized
this the most were pigeon racers who released their birds who
then didn’t return,” he added. And that was when there
were only 77 satellites, not 20,000.

agencies. In addition, it calls upon the government to improve
access to cloud computing and data-sharing for the development
of new AI systems.
The executive order comes amid growing concerns over China's
push to become a global AI superpower and the threat of job losses
in the impending age of automation. The initiative also urges
federal branches to establish a regulatory framework for AI across
industrial sectors. This despite the Trump administration's past
assurances to big tech that it would take a hands-off approach

has come a major step closer following the invention of a machine
capable of thinking for itself from scratch, scientists have
said. Engineers at Columbia University claim to have smashed
one of the biggest barriers in the field of robotics after a
mechanical arm, which had not been programmed with any instructions,
began performing practical tasks after just a few hours. The
team said this is the first time a robot has shown the ability
to “imagine itself”, thereby working out what its purpose
is and how to perform it. Until now, some experts had pointed
to the failure to achieve this as evidence that machines would
never be able to develop their own intelligence in the complex
way that humans do. The robotic arm was programmed with no knowledge
of physics, geometry or motor dynamics. It spent approximately
35 hours moving about at random, however intensive machine-learning

(Natural News) Last year, Qatar became the first country in the
world to roll out 5th generation (5G) wireless technology. Though
they were the first, Qatar will by no means be the last country
to make the move to 5G. Experts estimate that by next year virtually
every country on the globe will have embraced this technology.
Service providers boast that 5G will facilitate downloads at
up to 100 times greater speeds than 4G technology. In basic terms,
this translates to the ability to download (not stream) a full
HD movie in less than 10 seconds. 5G also promises to provide
more stable connections and greater capacity, meaning that networks
will be able to handle multiple high-demand applications at the
same time. This all sounds good on paper, but as has been the
case with most recent technological breakthroughs, everything
comes at a price. Ultimately, all this increased speed and connectivity
could well come at the cost of millions of people’s health.
Sprint in the lead - Telecoms giant, Sprint, has promised to
launch 5G mobile services across the United States by mid-2019.
The first six cities in line for this 5G rollout are Atlanta,
